Chief Executive Officer
Chang Ket Keong (“Peter Chang”)
Mr. CHANG KET KEONG, has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining the Company, he was the Purchasing Manager of China Borneo Builders Sdn. Bhd.
His work experience has spanned private-funding construction projects as well as government-funding construction projects. He was appointed chief executive officer and executive director of the Company in 2006. He is currently responsible for the overall strategy, corporate performance, growth planning as well as business and competitor analysis. Since the year 2006, the Company has been reporting significant increases in revenue. Under his stewardship, the Company has also expanded its geographical presence by venturing to the East Coast of Sabah. He was conferred the Bachelor of Business Administration degree by the University of Montana in the United Stated of America.
Executive Director
Lee Chee Kiang
MR. LEE CHEE KIANG assumed the role of Executive Director within the company on 31 January 2024. He possesses extensive expertise in the real estate sector, having successfully completed the Real Estate CEO’s Advance Course at Tsinghua University in Beijing and accumulated over two decades of experience.
Originating from a modest background, Lee Chee Kiang commenced his journey as a Marketing Executive, overseeing projects valued at RM171 million. Over the following decade, he accomplished the development of projects totaling RM215 million.
In 2007, driven by a vision to transform the Kota Kinabalu skyline, he established his own company. Since then, the company has successfully completed projects totaling approximately RM340 million. Presently, Lee Chee Kiang is actively managing various projects valued at RM640 million, with upcoming projects in the pipeline estimated to be worth RM4.7 billion.
Regarding his involvement in other public companies, Lee Chee Kiang holds a directorship in HS Global Development Berhad.
Executive Director
Phang Kiew Lim (“Derek Phang”)
MR. PHANG KIEW LIM, known as Derek Phang, assumed the role of Executive Director within the company on 31 January 2024.
Derek Phang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sydney, Australia. He is a member of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, and is registered as an ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant. Additionally, he held a Capital Markets Services Representative’s License issued by the Securities Commission of Malaysia, allowing him to provide advice on corporate finance.
With a wealth of seventeen (17) years of professional experience, Derek Phang has specialized in corporate finance and business advisory, particularly in areas such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, capital raising, and financing and restructuring. He has traveled extensively to countries including the People’s Republic of China, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, and Hong Kong, gaining exposure to diverse cultures and business practices.
Derek Phang's industry involvement spans various sectors, including experience in energy-related businesses. Previously, he served as a Corporate Finance Senior Manager for a local independent power producer with a diversified energy-related investment portfolio in the Southeast Asia region.
